Lesbians in Space 2: The Sapphics Strike Back

I'm packing up the first shipments of Lesbians in Space: The Sapphics Strike Back today, and there are a lot of them! I'm planning to do a little each day, and get through all the orders in the next week or so. I have all the items for the campaign EXCEPT for the hardback, but that just shipped from overseas, so hopefully I'll have them here in a week or two. Can't wait to see how they look!

Now, we unfortunately found a pretty big typo after I ordered over 300 books, so I had to do a little post-production error correction on the new shipment. We found out Sarah Zane was not properly credited on her story, "The Sherwood Striker Hits Its Mark" and I had to do a little inventive printing and cutting with some address labels. So you'll see the below when you get your books. All the files have been corrected for further printing and eBooks, so you all get the limited edition, first run, handcrafted version! I'm sure they'll be worth millions someday...

There were so many books both Doyle and Verne had to help me unbox them. I just posted the video on the Space Wizard Instagram channel for your viewing pleasure!


Finally (because this year has been crazy), we're also in the last 3 days of our Space Wizard Year 4 Part 2 campaign! We're funded, but I'm hoping to hit some stretch goals in the last days. So, we have a special Small Business Saturday pledge level where you can get 5 eBooks for $4 each, but there's a limited amount, and they're going fast. Only 16 of the 20 remain. If you want to get some cheap Space Wizard eBooks, check it out, and pass the word to friends and family!

Real quick update: Lesbians in Space: The Sapphics Strike Back paperback copies have arrived! (and they completely filled my front porch)



I will start shipping these out as soon as I can, but we're going to be in Philadelphia for PAX Unplugged this weekend, and then in New York for Thanksgiving, so I will start shipping as soon as I get back! The hardbacks haven't shipped yet, but I'll let you know as soon as they do!

Update: If you contacted me about not getting your eBooks, I think I have found and corrected the issue and a new email went out today to those who were missed before!

Just follow the directions on Bookfunnel to get your books. They make it very easy to read in whatever manner you prefer!

Thanks so much for getting your surveys in quickly! Right now, I've only got about 10 people who haven't filled out their survey, and 8 errored credit cards. If you're one of those, please try to fill out your survey as soon as possible and/or let me know if you need special consideration when charging your credit card.

Meanwhile, I hit the button on two very large orders today, for both the hardcover and the paperback copies of Lesbians in Space: The Sapphics Strike Back! I should have a bunch of boxes shop up at my front porch in a couple weeks for the paperback. The hardback may take a little longer, as they're coming from Bulgaria, and last time we had a slowdown for a few days in customs. But I'll start shipping them to you as soon as they arrive! I hope to get some of the charms and paperback shipments out before the end of the year!

Of course, since I have the books ordered, that means we have all five illustrations in! Hannah did some amazing work on these. You'll find them in color in the hardback and eBook, and in black and white in the paperback.
