Lesbians in Space 2: The Sapphics Strike Back

Hi Folks,

Just wanted to let you know I'm pressing the button to charge credit cards on your surveys! There are still 28 of you who haven't filled out your survey, so please do so! This will help me be prompt to get you your rewards.

We're hard at work on the hardback and physical copies. I've started working with the printer on the hardbacks, just covering a few last details to make sure the printing is pristine. And there's only one illustration left to complete, which should be done by the end of the month. Meanwhile take a look at these two from Spoonwood Visuals! I love the work Hannah is doing. You'll be able to see these full-size in the book, but there are two secrets hidden in the "Empires" illustration! See if you can find them!




Our next big campaign will start in 15 days! Space Wizard Year 4 Part 2 starts November 12, as part of The Book Bazaar. We've got seven new stories coming from Space Wizard, so go join our launch party, where there are three author interviews to tide you over, with another one coming on Thursday. Hi Folks,

Just a quick update to let you know I'm working on things in the background! I've already gotten in a big order of Lesbians in Space: Where No Man Has Gone Before in anticipation of shipping them out. Verne has quality checked the books as well!



We're just about ready to pull the trigger on orders for the new anthology too. All the stories are done, copy edited, and formatted. The front cover is complete, and the paperback wrap is also done. The money has also come in from BackerKit, so I'm busy paying authors for their amazing stories!
The final two things we're waiting on are the last three interior illustrations and the adjustments to the fancy hardback cover, and then we'll be ready to order!

Almost 90% of you have completed the survey, so well done! However, there's 44 more to go! Please fill out your survey if you haven't and that will let me know the final numbers I need to order when the new anthology is ready.

Meanwhile, I'm gearing up for our next big campaign already! Space Wizard Year 4 Part 2 starts November 12, as part of The Book Bazaar. I'm very excited to show off these new stories coming from Space Wizard, so go join our launch party! We have one author interview up already, and we'll have another on Friday, then more coming each week until we start. Two of the authors with books releasing have stories in this anthology, and another author is one of our editors, so there's a lot of crossover! Here's the link for the new campaign:

I have all the surveys created and I just pressed the button on the smoke test! That means 5% of backers will get their surveys, as a test to make sure everything works. If all goes well, I'll send out the rest of the surveys in a day or two.

We are funded and finished! Thank you so much to everyone for once again funding (more than twice over!) a second amazing anthology about lesbians and space! We not only funded the anthology, but two pay upgrades for our writers, 5 illustrations for the anthology, and fancy hardcovers with all the trimmings!

I'm sure you've gotten approximately 342 million of these emails if you participated in Printopia, so I'll keep this brief:

 What Happens Next:

 • Card Processing: Backerkit will now begin charging cards. Please make sure your payment info is up to date to avoid any issues.

 • Surveys: Backer surveys will go out as soon as I finish them up! I'm trying to finish them up very soon because the book is basically complete! I'm hoping to get surveys out to you as early as next week, if not sooner.
This will help me figure out how many fancy hardbacks to order. Yes, there is an addon for them, if you missed it in the campaign! You can also add any extras, and confirm your shipping address.

So sit tight for a few days! I'm already in contact about the hardcovers, with the same supplier as the previous one, and I hope to have the book finalized in the next week. There's a really cool anthology coming your way very very soon!
