Latest Updates from Our Project:

Release the Hardbacks!
6 months ago – Sun, Sep 28, 2025 at 03:07:24 PM

Hi Folks,

We're soooo close to hitting $10,500 ($84 away as I type this) that I'm opening up the last ten Lesbians in Space: Where No Man Has Gone Before fancy hardcovers a little early! I had these last ten copies set aside for the end of the campaign, but I wanted to make sure everyone has time to jump in and get one.

So now's your chance!

This is the only pledge level they're available on, and there are only 10 more in existence, total. That's it. So if you want to get a fancy hardcover for the original anthology AND help us make the final push to the fancy hardcovers for the new anthology, you know what to do! Click that button!

Only 46 hours left! Let's send this campaign out with a blast!

We're at $10,000, and we have sketches for illustrations!
6 months ago – Sat, Sep 27, 2025 at 08:05:20 AM

Hi folks and thank you to everyone who backed the project in the last few days!

We just passed $10,000 this morning and that means our writers get paid another cent per word for their stories!

We've only got 3 days left, so this is the time to poke all your friends and family and get them to help support Lesbians in Space: The Sapphics Strike Back!

I'll make it a little more exciting. I just got the preliminary sketches for the five illustrations in the anthology from Hannah at Spoonwood Visuals! We're still working on changes to some of them, but I have two here that are pretty set in their scope. These are just the rough sketches, so you'll be seeing these again soon, all cleaned up and in full color! These will also be included in the 4x6 illustration addon, if you got one of those (it's a great addon!)

Without further ado, here are the sketches for "Covert Escapades" and "Heist!"

We've got two more stretch goals that are tantalizingly close!
At $10,500, we'll release the very last fancy hardcovers of Lesbians in Space: Where No Man Has Gone Before. This is all that will be printed, so if you want to get a copy, now's your last chance!

AND if we can hit $11,500 before the end of the campaign, we'll fancy up the hardcovers of Lesbians in Space: The Sapphics Strike Back to match!

Last, but certainly not least, we've still got three projects in Printopia 2025 that haven't quite funded. Take a look and support these creators too!:

J.03 - AM I HUMAN? Tells the story of a young boy turned into an experimental weapon. Less than $100 to fund this one!

Noctiluca is a graphic novel with a secret agent, and it comes in both sweet and spicy versions! Check it out!

Echoes is a one shot eerie puritan folk horror comic. It needs another $1500 to fund, but it looks like a great and creepy story!

That's it for now. We're down to the wire and I'm excited to get this amazing anthology out to all you backers!

It's Over 9000! Art prints unlocked!
6 months ago – Tue, Sep 23, 2025 at 08:01:19 AM

We just passed $9000 last night, and that means we've unlocked yet another stretch goal!

We now have 4x6 prints for both covers and all ten illustrations available as a $20 addon right here! The original illustrations (by Katie and Kris Cordy) from Lesbians in Space: Where No Man Has Gone Before are displayed below, and the pack will include the amazing art from both covers by Serene Chia. Added to this will be the five illustrations coming soon from Hannah ‘Spoon’ Wilson!

Our next goal is to pay our authors even more, by getting to $10,000! But that's not all! I've added in a new stretch goal at $10,500. I have 10 more original fancy hardbacks from Lesbians in Space: Where No Man Has Gone Before available. but that is the absolute last of them. No others exist! If we hit $10,500, I'll make those last ten available.

And if we hit $11,500, we'll get fancy covers for the new anthology too, which means anyone who backed that tier will get automatically upgraded!

We've got one more week, folks! Let's make it count! Remember, if you back both my and my collab partner's campaign, you'll get even more art, along with another story!

Here are some other great campaigns in Printopia 2025 you can back!

Leif & Thorn Volume 8: If you want more great queer graphic novels, check this one out. They're only a few dollar away from being funded!

Let's support trans creators and stories with My Assassination Target is My Childhood Crush? A new romantic dramedy zine!

This one is an eerie puritan folk horror, and it's really close to getting funded! Give some love to Echoes - A One Shot Horror Comic!

That's it for now, but I'll be back with another update soon, or when we reach another stretch goal!

Printopia 2025 passed $200,000!
7 months ago – Thu, Sep 18, 2025 at 08:19:51 AM

Hi Folks!

Printopia 2025 is going really well! We've passed $200,000 raised for indie creators so far, and 30 of the 38 projects have funded!

The Lesbians in Space campaign is still chugging along too, but we really want to hit those next two goals of paying our writers more and then the coveted *Fancy Hardcovers* (you know you want one). So please share with friends, family, and on social media! Get the word out about more Space Lesbians!

Speaking of more space lesbians, how about art prints? I have a poll below, so let me know if you want color versions of the illustrations for both this and the first anthology. If enough people want prints, We'll open that up as a new stretch goal at $9000! Make sure to read to the end to cast your vote!

Meanwhile, I wanted to tell you about some other awesome projects going on that you should absolutely check out:

First, this brave soul is running a campaign at the same time as Printopia, but isn't officially in the project! However, their campaign just funded, and they're going to have a second campaign running in November at the same time as our Space Wizard Year 2, Part 2 campaign. So give some love for found family, and LGBTQ+  and neurospicy characters in Graft - Book 1!

Second, I've been remiss in plugging my own collab partner! Bound by Words is a great new Sapphic graphic adventure AND there's a special bonus if you back both our campaigns! You'll get a extra bonus story, which is a follow-up to my contribution in the anthology. You'll also get an art print of a scene from the story!

Third, here's a great choice if you have kids and love RPGs! StoryGuider is a coloring book that lets kids choose their own adventures! This one is so close to funding! Let's make it happen!

Alright, now remember to fill out the new poll and let me know about those illustration prints! I'll be back next time with some more recommendations.

It's the same process Space Wizard uses to publish all our books, so you know you're getting quality! Feel free to send us a message if you're interested on have any questions!
